Ortega's Restaurant

We absolutely love to visit here. Great little outdoor patio. The food is amazing. The gentleman who runs it is very kind. Highly recommend.

We had a huge party of at least 20 people. Food was amazing rice was great! Service was amazing! I had deep fried flour tortilla tacos, they were so good! I live in Colorado Springs now "fremont county native" and no where in Colorado Springs makes them like that!

We went to Ortega's after a soak at Dessert Reef, and in all honesty we were driving to another restaurant, but when my wife saw the number of cars and how busy this place looked we decided to give it a chance and we are very glad we did. I had the soup of the day (Cream of Poblano) and a patty melt. Both were well cooked and tasty. The soup was something I'd never had before and it is definitely something I'll be thinking about. The Patty Melt while a basic sandwich so often goes wrong. This one everything was cooked perfectly and the crunch of the bread and the sweetness of the onions just were on point. My wife had huevos rancheros and they were also well done. The eggs over medium were perfectly cooked, and it wasn't completely covered in beans which many places do. If you're in the area while it's off the beaten path make a trip a few blocks over. The food and service were great, and the next time we go to Dessert Reef or to Florence we will be checking this place out again. I don't have any pictures because I'll admit I was starving and just went to town.

Had steak and shrimp combo fajitas (they came out sizzling!) and a Margarita. Husband had Seafood enchiladas and a Pacifico. Chips and salsa brought to the table with our menus. Everything was excellent! The waitress was a doll, the place is nicely decorated and clean. I highly recommend Ortegas.

Really good food and service. They also serve really good coffee. I love their breakfast, but lunch is also really good. Their green chili is actually spicy.

Omg! What a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The stuffed sopapilla was something I'd never heard of before, and it tasted incredible! We came back the next day for breakfast and had another excellent experience!! Delicious food and excellent service again! I can't remember the last time someone was so on top of keeping drinks full. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Great food!!!! The BEST burrito I've had, the hatched green Chilli sauce was also so good, the margarita was fantastic! Will be back!

If you’re looking for great food and a great atmosphere, this is your place!!!! Amazing!!! Earl is super nice and welcoming! They have the best green chili in Fremont county! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed! Taco Tuesday is a great deal too!!!
